Motion design & animation

Motion that explains something, not just decorates

Animated logos, explainers and interface motion, delivered as a reusable system your team can keep applying after we finish.

Animation earns its place when it makes something clearer: how a product works, where to look next, that an action succeeded. Applied without a reason it slows the page and tires the viewer. We start from what the motion is supposed to communicate.

What you get

Included in every engagement

Logo animation and stings

An animated mark and a short sting for video intros, outros, ads and loading states.

Explainer animation

Storyboard, voiceover, illustration and animation for the product nobody quite understands from text alone.

Interface motion

Page transitions, scroll-linked reveals and micro-interactions specified as tokens rather than one-off hacks.

Motion systems

Timing, easing and duration rules written down, so future work moves the way this work does.

Templates for your team

Editable presets, so your editors can apply the brand's motion without commissioning us each time.

Performance and restraint

Animation that respects reduced-motion settings, battery and low-end devices, because most of your audience is on a phone.

How the work runs

Our 5-step process

You see something real at every stage. Nothing moves forward until the previous step is approved, so there are no surprises at handover.

  1. 1

    Discovery & Audit

We interview you, look at your market, and catalogue every place your brand currently shows up.

  2. 2

    Direction & Moodboards

Two or three distinct visual directions, presented early and cheaply so disagreement costs nothing.

  3. 3

    Design & Refinement

The chosen direction is built out properly: marks, palette, type scale, layout rules.

  4. 4

    System & Guidelines

Everything written down, so ten different people can produce work that still looks like one company.

  5. 5

    Handover & Rollout

Source files, export kits and a walkthrough, plus a staged plan for replacing the old identity.

Questions

The things people ask before they hire us

What does animation work cost?

A logo animation and sting is a small fixed-price piece. A full explainer with script, voiceover and illustration is a larger project. Interface motion is usually scoped inside a website or product build.

How long does an explainer take?

Three to six weeks, most of it script and storyboard. Once the storyboard is approved, the animation itself is the predictable part.

What formats do we get?

Whatever the destination needs: MP4 and ProRes for video, Lottie or animated SVG for the web, plus square and vertical crops for social.

Can you animate an existing brand?

Yes. We work from your current guidelines, and if the identity has no motion rules yet we write them as part of the project.

Do you provide voiceover and music?

We can arrange both, or work with a voice and track you supply. Licensing is handled and documented either way.

Will animation slow down our website?

Not if it is built properly. We budget for weight, prefer compositor-friendly properties, and honour the reduced-motion setting.
